It's sad to know that some of these cats, as well as many of the cats and kittens that come into the shelter, may not make it into loving forever homes... They will be euthanized because there are just too many of them, and not enough homes. Cats are producing unwanted litters all over the place, all the time... Please make this stop. SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PET CATS. This would help the animals SO much; it would prevent hundreds, maybe even thousands of unwanted litters from being born. Which in turn would prevent U.S. shelters from having to euthanize hundreds of thousands of these unwanted cats and kittens each year. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. And that can only happen if people would just get their pets FIXED. And if you can spare the money, and you see stray/feral cats that you know are not fixed, PLEASE GET THEM FIXED!!! I cannot stress this enough - TNR, people (Trap, Neuter, Release). Feral cats are forced to live a short, harsh, and dangerous life anyway. More of ! them DO NOT need to be born. If you would like to have a cat or kitten, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE visit your local adoption center or rescue group. Adopt a cat or kitten; save a life.
